In conjunction with the Limtiaco Company, we were able to work on the re-design of the Town Center of Mililani website. The client came to us looking to update the look of their current site as well as make the website more content driven and community oriented. Using a CMS back-end we were able to create a robust website that can be easily updated by anyone. We chose the color red as a taste of the new colors that will be brought in with the upcoming remodel. The pineapple motifs were used as design elements throughout the site which ties back to the pineapple plantation that Mililani built on.

Our Morning at Honolulu Hale
Mayor Peter Carlisle is a hoot. He's the most energetic mayor with a silly sense of humor. Just before he took his place in the spot light, he lightened the mood and cracked jokes about the importance of a dramatic proclamation reading.
But as he read the proclamation, there wasn't a giggle, chuckle or laugh in the room. We all knew the seriousness of the subject matter: sexual assault. The mayor proclaimed April to be Sex Assault Awareness month. As a former big-time prosecutor, Carlisle worked with Adriana Ramelli of the Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) since 1976 putting away sex offenders. It was fitting that he was able to make the proclamation and celebrate a 35-year joint effort against sex abuse.
It was a surprising turn out of more than 25 people from the Army, Marines, Air Force, and local supporters. We joined in with SATC and other supporters for the group shot. After the stodgy, hands-by-your-side photo op, Carlise insisted on a shaka photo. And was really into it.
Congratulations to Adri and Paula, of SATC and Hawaii Coalition Against Sex Assault respectively, for helping to make a difference in Hawaii.

Networking Professionals Mixer
Networking is definitely the key to building relationships and expanding your business. Thanks to Toby and his Networking Professionals Mixer, we got to meet new people and learn a little bit about other industries. It is always great to be around other ambitious and eager people. The good food and cocktails are just a plus. I look forward to seeing what Toby has in the works next. To find out more about Networking in Honolulu, click here or go to www.facebook.com/Nextworking.

Rehab Therapy Partner's Website Launched!
We recently completed the Rehab Therapy Partner's website and brochure. Rehab Therapy Partners is a orthopedic and sports rehabilitation clinic that provides physical therapy services that was established in 1993.
The client came to us looking to redesign their existing client brochures and website. They wanted a website that was simple and easy to navigate, with a brochure that matched. Using colors that were appropriate to fitness and rehabilitation we designed a site that was clean with lots of movement. Since the client was looking to expand the website in the future he requested that we create a site that allowed for expansion. We opted for a vertical navigational structure that would easily allow for both sub page expansion and main page additions in the future.

Food Trucks Hawaii takes you there
Hawai‘i folks know lunchwagons / food trucks and the growing popularity can be seen with The Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race".
The increased attention given to food trucks has spawned a wave of new and exciting trucks ready to satisfy Hawaii's hungry customers. The only problem is where to set up. Established Trucks have carved out niches now familiar to their customer base, so how do the newer trucks build their own following? FoodTrucksHawaii.com is that answer. Food Trucks Hawaii takes advantage of GPS technology and gives customers precise locations, email notifications, directions and hours of operation of all registered trucks to anyone with access to an web-connected computer or smartphone. It has never been easier to discover that new seafood-taco truck with killer mac salad.
Orasi Design worked together with Food Trucks Hawaii to create a brand that was easily recognizable and represented the progression of the food truck industry. Orange is the food industry's most enticing color making it the clear choice for the brand. The bold, stylized mark and the clean type complete the identity and illustrate the service Food Trucks Hawaii provides. But the website is where the brand comes to life. The website's clean navigation and large map make it easy to follow your favorite food truck.
Check out www.foodtruckshawaii.com and find that new spot for some local grinds.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
In a world of branding wars and extreme marketing budgets, one has to wonder what Microsoft was thinking when they decided on the look for their new stores. One way to look at it is, like the old saying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Welcome 2012!!!
Happy New Year all! It's the start to a new year, but we'd like this opportunity to look back on a project not properly celebrated.
We're very happy with the outcome of our Holiday Wine and also with the online compliment that let anyone download their own wine labels or gift tags.
The CMYK theme came from the work we do as designers, which is the ink separation that a typical print job uses. When paired with that of Holiday songs with the similar colors we knew we had a chance to do something fun.
* I'll Have a CYAN Christmas Without You
* Rudolph The MAGENTA Nosed Reindeer
* Five YELLOW Rings
* It Came Upon A Mid-BLACK Clear
